Though he's 9 years old has been through a lot in his short life: his first family kept this little guy living outside and fed him off table scraps. He was then rescued by a single-mom who really loved him but was forced to voluntarily surrender him because of financial hardship. Since coming to Pug Pals Otis has had to have two mast cell tumors (non-cancerous) removed, some dental work done, and an eye removed from a horse kick he experienced several years ago. This sweetheart even gets along with cats who like/tolerate dogs. Not only does Otis have a great personality, but he is one smart boy and is housetrained. After such a rough life, Otis would love nothing more than to find a family who will love him like he deserves, fatten-up this skinny pug, and be able to care for his medical needs. Frankie Mae came to Pug Pals after her family moved and left her behind in their trailer. (I know! We can't believe it either!) This girl loves everyone. And enjoys nothing more than being with her people. Actually, her love of treats may rival her love of people. She really loves treats! Because she's missing several teeth she has a hilarious old lady face that she makes when she eats and smacks (eats) her food. Frankie also loves car rides and her favorite place is on the console/armrest ... (Read More)in between the two front seats so she can attentively watch the road. Her foster mom things she is secretly judging her driving. Either way, she makes for a good travel buddy. (We told you she was fun and had personality!) Frankie Mae's unique signature is her darling little dance step that she does with her two front feet. Everyone she meets notices it right off and can't help but smile. And speaking of feet, her favorite bedtime ritual is to lick her front feet as she falls to sleep. Frankie Mae gets along great with kids and dogs both large and small. Frankie has learned how to deal with hip dysplasia and an inoperable, degenerative spine condition that causes her to wobble and sometimes drag her back feet. It's possible she may need wheels to help her get a long later in life - but we aren't sure if or when that may happen. Just like any lady, Frankie Mae has been housebroken. Her medical issues cause her to sometimes loose control of her bowels and everyone once in a while a little poo will sneak through before she can make it outside - but since she's a well-bred lady she's always surprised and a little embarrassed by it. Their first family was forced to give them up after their daughter became very allergic to them - it was heartbreaking for Miley, Macie, and their first family. These two ladies are a bonded pair and will need to be adopted together. They would love to be adopted by a family who will be able to help them heal their broken hearts and give them the individual attention and love they deserve. Miley loves to go for car rides, new social situations, and walks - and loves to compete with her sister Macie for loves from people. Macie is the deep thinker, worrier, and mothering one. She has beautiful, big expressive eyes. When you put Macie on the bed she'll unmake it and rearrange all the pillows and make a nest she's quite proud of - it's one of the few times she'll play. When you pet Macie she'll run away out of arms reach and then briefly run back for another fast pet. She's totally into eye contact and has a really good heart. These girls are quiet, calm, and low maintenance. Until feeding time that is. Like all puggles, these girls LOOOVE to eat (but really, don't we all?!). They won't climb on the furniture to beg, unless you have popcorn which is their personal favorite. The adoption fee for Miley and Macie is $250.
